The stage becomes a shifting landscape in which bodies and sounds appear like traces of stories that are never fully revealed. \nBetween abstraction and familiarity\, the performance moves through suspended territories\, evoking fragmented memories\, fleeting relationships\, and situations that could belong equally to dreams and everyday life. The images do not follow a linear narrative\, but unfold through associations\, displacements\, and poetic collisions. \nThe work navigates between musicality\, poetry\, and absurdity. The rhythm of the composition does not lead the audience toward a single meaning\, but instead opens a space for free imagination and listening\, where perception and interpretation remain constantly fluid. \nDrift Atlas invites the audience to embrace uncertainty and allow themselves to be carried by images and atmospheres without needing to define them. What matters is not arriving at a conclusion\, but inhabiting the movement of things as they take shape and disappear again.

SUMMARY:Fil Rouge
DESCRIPTION:Description of the performance\n\n\n\n\nFil Rouge is a performance in which action and voice bring mythological narratives to life. Through the immediate and dynamic movement of the bodies on stage\, choreographies transform into stories – sometimes ordinary\, sometimes surreal – as everyday life merges with absurdity. A sensory journey in which movement becomes meaning\, breath becomes word and the stage a place of metamorphosis\, where myth takes shape in the dancers’ bodies. Fil Rouge is a theatrical rite\, a dance piece where the body generates the symbolic\, giving shape to gods and archetypes in a continuous flow of transformation. Fil Rouge was conceived jointly by seven international dancers during residencies in Berlin and Italy in 2023-24. The participating artists share a deep and common interest in a specific performative language. DESCRIPTION:Instant Composition Class\nDuring this class\, we will explore the connections between the body and its internal and external environments\, investigating the ongoing dialogue that exists among the body and the world.\nFrom there\, we will delve deeper into the relationship between the body and Earth’s gravity — exploring weight\, support and grounding — before broadening our focus to the interaction between joints\, trajectories of movement and spatial directions\, allowing the choreography to emerge in the flow of the present moment. \nWe will then turn our attention to the relationship between the dancer and their own movement\, examining how choreography takes shape through awareness\, intention and presence. From this perspective\, we will explore the intersection of choreography and observation\, ultimately arriving at the dynamic relationship between performer and audience.\nCreating and receiving movement\, composing in real time\, and leaving a unique choreographic imprint on the atmosphere of a space are among the themes that will guide our compositional practices. \nFor further information: mira.kolanen@jojo.fi

DESCRIPTION:La composizione istantanea\n– tecniche di danza improvvisazione –\nCorpo Parlante\nOgni corpo in movimento è anche un corpo che parla. All’interno di questo seminario studieremo la relazione tra danza e voce. Partiremo da un approccio al corpo in quanto soggetto della nostra esperienza interna (sensazioni) e condivisa (linguaggio). Il corpo che comunica è il punto di unione tra il dentro e il fuori\, tra il movimento e la parola\, tra la coreografia e la poesia. Attraverso un approccio fisico\, esploreremo la parola in quanto azione nell’ambiente che ‘lascia una traccia’. Voce e significato si fondono nel corpo che si muove e si trasforma\, la storia narrata si intreccia e si sviluppa nella coreografia.
